All of these photos came out of Afghanistan, what are the weapons and the one odd looking item that is last?

Ken, glad to see the forum up again.

Items in picture are Tokorav (sp?) TT 33 Russky pistol, an AK that, but for the 3rd position detent, looks like it was made to be sold here - the only place on the planet you can buy a semi-auto AK, and (I'm guessing) the last pic is of a basic field assembled solar battery charger complete with a small 12v battery. Other pix are of shells/bombs and a machine gun that I can't ID. Most of the above is SWAG based on a complete lack of research.

Other opinions???

What appears to be an AK is a RPD Machine Gun, the bombs are Rusky 120MM mortars and the big barreled thingy is a Soviet full auto grenade launcher. All of these items we re captured by Brads Team in Afghanistan.

Ken, Father of Brad,

Ak, RPD, XYZ they are all the same basic Ruskky design built in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th world countries by anyone with a sheet metal brake, a rivet set and a treadle powered lath. And they work very well. One of the few "modern" weapons that can be serviced with no more than a cartridge by a 10 year old who can't read.

By the way, if you knew the answers why ask the question??
