HOSTING A CLASS Firearmz - Firearms Training and Defense is interested in conducting courses in your area. If you have the facilities, or have access to facilities, that would allow us to do it, this is a good opportunity for you for a number of reasons: 1) Hosting our group brings solid, proven, world-class training to you and your customers without the time, hardship, and high cost involved in traveling to some distant school for training. We provide more current, REALITY-BASED information in greater quantity, in less time, and at a fraction of the cost without any hardship to you. Our ONE day courses costs an average of $100 (Range fees may increase the cost slightly) 2) Hosting one of our courses helps bring you and your school/range a high level of notoriety. We have an extensive mailing list and there is no better way to gain exposure for your business than directly contacting potential customers in your area to attend one of our courses. 3) FREE Training for you! Hosting one of our courses is also a profitable financial venture. Our courses usually fill to capacity. You can enjoy a per-student profit for hosting us and marketing our courses to your regular clientele. In addition to this, the hosting party receives two free spots in the course (usually valued at approximately $100 each). You can give these spots as gifts, or sell them to your customers. You also receive mention in our newsletter, and a link to our website as our thanks for helping make the course a success. 4). Instructor Certification Opportunities - By hosting a Suarez International Training Course you may have the opportunity to be certified as an instructor by our organization. Call us to discuss this option. 5) We understand that some of you may be unsure about how all this works. We want you to be at ease and will happily provide you with a list of business references who have worked with us in the past in organizing one of these courses. General Points 1) Host's Responsibilities a). Locate and obtain the training venue (range or gym) - Including Target Frames and Cardboard backers. b). Contact us about specific range/gym requirements - (Firearmz - Firearms Training and Defense will provide paper targets.) c). Locate a hotel for out-of-town attendees. (Including my instructors or me). Provide Firearmz - Firearms Training and Defense with a map on how to get to the training sites or accurate, readable, written directions to the site and to the hotel. d). Send course announcements to local area contacts and those on the "interest list" e). Refer contacts to our office for registration f). Host will be responsible for having the training location ready for the first day of the course (Targets backers, Target Stands, etc.) Please keep in mind that I am totally dependant on your efforts to ensure the facilities are professionally organized. Please help me to ensure that the classes I offer are the most professional possible with the best facilities available. 2) Firearmz - Firearms Training and Defense will: a). Register the students'. b). Provide host with two free spots in the course. c). Provide the amount of training agreed upon, and present each student with a certificate Our goal is to provide the highest quality training possible. We generally like to have a minimum of 12-14 students in a class, and a maximum dictated by the capacity of each venue/course combination (approximately 16 - 24). Although Firearmz - Firearms Training and Defense will market the course and attempt to fill it, we appreciate any advertising and marketing assistance. A good way to start is for the potential host to build a list of interested students. This will give us an indication of the likely response to a specific course in an area as well as provide us with a list to which we might announce the course.
